We Made It!!

Sawasdee Krub!

After nearly a day of travel, we arrived in Thailand!! The 17-hour flight from NYC was actually effortless - we both agree that we've had 5 hour domestic flights that have been much worse (Thai Air rocks!!) We actully flew directly over Montreal, the north pole, Siberia, Mongolia, and then on to Bangkok - the whole flight was in the sunlight. Pretty spectacular!!

After a day of relaxing on the beach, reading by the pool, and a few yummy cocktails, we have totally adjusted to the time difference and are haveing a great, restful vacation. We've been eating excellent Thai food at every meal - even for breakfast (!) and it's awesome!! Today, we went on our first Thai adventure -- an elephant trek -- and we posted a few photos. Hope you're all well... we would write more, but need to grab a drink and head back to the beach. ;-)

More soon...

gives a whole new meaning to "the elephant in the room".
The trip over sounds awesome.

YOUR ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE GREAT, SCHEDULES, MAPS, INSTRUCTIONS,ETC.

HOPE YOU'RE DOING AS WELL AS WE ARE, AND WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE PICS.

This is so exciting! Keep the Posts coming. And I am so glad you are having a few adventures before getting Manatsanan. She is so very cute.

I am sitting in "the Travel Cafe" here in Portland listening to exotic music with travel Kitsch stuff all over the walls. Glad you are doing the real thing.

Love Michael
